I am so thrilled to currently be part of TWO exhibitions.  They both happened so fast, but I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to show my work to a wider audience.

Two of my portraits from the Identity Crisis series I shot last year are on display at the Sussex County Judicial Center in Newton.  The gallery is on the 2nd floor and hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 - 4:30.  The show runs until January 1st.  This exhibit also features  the talented photographers of Sparta Camera Club.  Their annual EXPO competition and show will also be held early next year.  More details to come.

My photographs are also up (and for sale) at Mara's Cafe and Bakery in Denville.  This was a frequent hang out spot in high school, so it's surreal to have work up there.  I have entitled my show Winter Song after the beautiful song by Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles, who are two of my favorite musicians.  I am sharing the space with two artists that are showcasing their winter themed artwork as  well.  This show runs through February.

In other news, I am trying to wrap up my Photo Challenge which I started in May.  I had a list of 30 different prompts to be taken over the course of a month (which I decided to expand to weekly projects).  The past few months have been a bit hectic and I honestly have not picked up my camera in weeks.  I'm hoping to have the 7 remaining photos taken by the end of the year!

Otherwise, I am editing away at my friend's wedding photos and our family's vacation photos from the past two years.  I ended up buying Photoshop Elements and am in the process of re-learning the program.  In the meantime, I am continuing to use Lightroom and it takes care of my basic editing needs.  In the new year, I'm hoping to improve on all things technical (especially learning the intricacies of my new camera body, which has some carry-over to my other dSLR at least).  Happy Holidays!
